Paparkhety
A hidden meadow near Lava, Paparkhety is the kind of place that doesn’t show up in travel magazines but stays in your memory long after you’ve returned home. Open grasslands, panoramic views, and very few visitors.
Dubling Viewpoint
One of the most dramatic viewpoints in the region, offering wide-angle views of layered valleys, tea garden slopes, and the distant snow-capped peaks. Early morning visits are especially rewarding.
Kolakham Waterfalls
Tucked inside dense forest, the Kolakham Waterfalls are a powerful reminder of how alive and wild these hills truly are. The sound of the falls alone is worth the drive.

Aritar & Mulkharka Lake
Aritar is a tranquil destination near the Sikkim border, and Mulkharka Lake is its crown jewel — a quiet, reflective lake surrounded by green hills. Rarely crowded, endlessly beautiful.
Lamahatta
A beautifully developed eco-tourism destination with a park, a large pond, and walking trails through pine and oak forests. Lamahatta also has a natural mineral spring and a waterfall, making it one of the most complete single-stop destinations on the valley trail.
Sittong — The Orange Village
Sittong is perhaps the most distinctive stop in our entire portfolio. Known for its orange orchards that bloom brilliantly between November and January, this offbeat village is reached through winding forest roads and rewarded with extraordinary rural beauty, birdwatching opportunities, and the warmest local hospitality in the hills.
Rishop
Perched at over 8,000 feet, Rishop is one of the finest offbeat destinations in North Bengal. On a clear morning, the entire Kanchenjunga range appears almost close enough to touch. Rhododendron forests surround the village, and the silence here is the kind that actually restores you.
Lava
A charming hill town known for its Buddhist monastery, dense forests, and bird-watching trails. Lava is calm, clean, and covered in mist for much of the year — perfect for those who want beauty without the bustle.
Nokdara Lake
A serene, forest-ringed lake that feels completely removed from the ordinary world. The walk around Nokdara is peaceful and unhurried — a favourite among nature lovers and photographers alike.
Delo Park, Kalimpong
Situated on top of Deolo Hill, this well-maintained park offers a bird’s eye view of Kalimpong town and the Teesta River valley below. A popular spot for families, it also has orchid gardens, picnic areas, and a toy train ride for children.
Jalsha Bungalow
A heritage property steeped in old-world charm, Jalsha Bungalow adds a touch of history and character to the Kalimpong leg of the grand tour. Worth visiting for its architecture and its story.
Mirik & Sukiyapokhri
Mirik Lake is one of the most photographed spots in the Darjeeling district — a long, calm lake with a pedestrian bridge, surrounded by gardens and forests. Sukiyapokhri, nearby, is even quieter and less visited, making it an ideal base for the valley trail.
Simana Viewpoint
True to its name — Simana means border — this viewpoint sits right at the edge of the hills, offering a sweeping view that stretches across valleys and ridgelines as far as the eye can see.
Mini Pahalgaon
A small meadow that draws comparisons to the famous Pahalgaon of Kashmir — rolling green grasslands, open sky, and a sense of freedom that is rare to find. A lovely stop for a picnic or a quiet hour outdoors.
Dawaipani
A peaceful village between Mirik and Lamahatta, Dawaipani offers an authentic glimpse into everyday hill life — terraced fields, wooden homes, and views that feel entirely unhurried.
